Cookie policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Windows R Us uses, what they do and how long they last. For how we use the information we collect, see our privacy policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. We use them to remember which advert or link brought you to us so your enquiry is attributed correctly, and to keep the site working smoothly.
Cookies we set when you land on the site
When you arrive, we store first-party marketing-attribution cookies named with a wml_ prefix. These record the campaign information from the link you followed — UTM values (source, medium, campaign, term and content) and advertising click identifiers such as gclid, fbc and fbp — together with the landing page you first visited. They let us connect your enquiry to the right campaign. These wml_ cookies expire after 90 days. The same values are also kept in your browser’s local storage so attribution survives if you leave and return.

Tag manager and analytics cookies
Our pages include a Google Tag Manager snippet that is currently switched off. If we enable it in future, it may set additional cookies (for example Google Analytics cookies such as _ga) to help us understand how visitors use the site. We will update this policy to list any such cookies before they are switched on.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to refuse them. If you block our wml_ cookies the site will still work, but we may be unable to attribute your enquiry to the campaign that referred you.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy as our use of cookies changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
